Group Therapy

Group therapy is a type of counseling that involves meeting with a group of individuals whom all face similar concerns. Group sessions involve sharing your experiences and listening to others experiences. Group counseling provides a supportive environment to discuss problems and concerns and work toward your goals. The experience often reduces loneliness, normalizes your experiences, promotes change in meaningful ways, and helps you to learn and develop coping strategies and skills.

At Joie de Vivre our groups are specific to a certain demographic or topic. Enrollment may require an pre-screening with a group facilitator in order to ensure the group is a good fit for you and that you are a good fit for the group.
